Hi there, Great plugin thanks. I am using it to distribute my free windows tools.

I often update my software – Then with filebase I select new file to upload (over the existing file) and change the version number and date etc.

Today I am finding that the upload seems to take place but then I see a 404 error, even though the URL is the filebase admin page URL.

And when I check the file, nothing has changed.

If I make changes and update without including an updated file, all is fine.

So I had to manually copy to FTP.

I wonder if you have any idea why this would have started happening (seems since latest update).

    Thanks.

If this is too complex to figure out, Can you tell me the easiest way to update existing files – In order to keep download count.

This means update the file – version number, date etc. but keep download (hit) count.

    Thanks again awesome plugin.

Have you tried both Flash Uploader and Browser Uploader?
Whats the path of the URL that gives the 404 error?

Hi there, yes I did try both types of upload.

The path of the 404 was actually the correct page (it shows correctly when refreshed):

    …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpfilebase_files

But the file was not changed or uploaded.

I will try and narrow it down to something more specific.

    Thank you.

    Greetings,

Just updated to latest version and I am not sure if you have deliberately fixed anything related to this but I can confirm that the issue is gone. Everything now works perfectly. (Maybe it was user error).

    Thank you.
