• I am having difficulty uploading my theme in wordpress. Below are the error messages that pops up every time I tried uploading the theme.

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /Hermes/bosweb25a/b405/ipg.jctamorg/wp-content/uploads/2011/12.

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, cgiadmin@yourhostingaccount.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I would be most grateful were you to help me upload my theme in WordPress.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I have tried the above listed solutions but to no avail. I need to have my site up for editing. please me with your expertise.

    Hi, I think it’s a permission (chmod) issue. (might be wrong though).
    Try to unpack the theme on your PC and FTP it up on the server.
