I’m trying to add a powerpoint file to my website so that people can click on it and download it onto their computer, but I’m having a lot of trouble.
I think I have version 2.0? It came with the netfirms package.
I upload the file, and I click on Link to File, and then Send to Editor..but that doesn’t work..when I click on it it just sends me to a forum page.
If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

  • The best way to do this is zip the powerpoint file (compress) and place it on your web host in a documents file and then create a link in your widget side bar that links back to it.
This should allow anyone to download the file.

Thanks…could you help me out with something else…
My website is for a political campaign, and I do not want the title of the blogs to be the date and the author. Is there any way I can get rid of that?
