uploading pictures

    I cant seem to be able to upload pictures to the site, for a few days now. This is the message I get:
    o.jpg
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/blogs.dir/52/files/2017/11.
    How do I resolve this?

    Hi,

    I think that you need to change folder permissions for /uploads/ or /wp-content/.
    you have to give full permission 777 to your /uploads/ or /wp-content/.
    but remember one thing permissions 777 is simply insecure.

    And see Changing File Permissions for the correct WordPress permission.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your answer, no I used to be able to upload pictures with no problem, and I don’t want to change the settings on my computer. I think this has something to do with the site more than anything, as I cant upload any pictures (have tried various kinds).

    Hi again,
    Now I can’t upload new text posts either, this is definitely a problem with the site itself. The main question perhaps is: Am I posting this comment in the right place, or should I send this somewhere else? (this is the only place I found where I could potentially contact WorldPress.org).

    You are posting in the right place. WordPress.org is the place that provides and supports the “WordPress” software through the contribution of volunteers. There is no company involved here.
