    Can anyone help me?

I’ve been experiencing issues uploading images to the media library, I’ve been getting the blue question mark loading.

I’ve read various forums and tried the following and still no luck:

FTP site, changed the file permissions to 755
    Tried changing the permalinks back
    Add files from server

now I’m unable to remove the broken links and its slowed down my wordpress connection to the server.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try?

    Hi @carrie8200

First, hope you are having a good day.

Second, that doesn’t sound like a fun time. What I’m wondering is when you upload the image if you receive an error message or not. Also if it is just with image files or all files?

    Hi Jose,

Thank you kindly for your reply, my day was rather frustrating trying to diagnose the issue.

There is no HTTP error, just broken links that the blue question mark is appearing when I upload the images.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

I can relate on that level. Never a good feeling when you feel stumped.

Does it happen if you try to upload it a second time? I actually had this happen to me the other day when I was trying to upload a HiDPI image. The first time it failed and the second time succeeded. No idea how that first one didn’t upload and second did.

    Hello –

Yes it happens overtime I upload a image, whether its a jpg or png file.

I’ve tried changing the permissions on the FTP too 755 site and its still not working.

    Can you help?
