Support » Fixing WordPress » Uploading images gives me error code

  • I tried uploading an image in a sample post on my site, but after I clicked upload, it gave me this code (on the write post page):

Warning: imageantialias(): supplied argument is not a
    valid Image resource in /home/dcsfootb/public_html/wp-admin/includes/image.php
    on line 44
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers
already sent by (output started at /home/dcsfootb/public_html/wp-admin/includes/image.php:44)
    in /home/dcsfootb/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on
    line 390

Any ideas as to what’s the problem?

  • umm are you sure that the wordpress files are uploaded completely correctly?

Yes, everything is uploaded and in place to my knowledge. I thought the first error stated that my picture (.gif) wasn’t a valid image file, and the second error is something to do with the header (no idea).

I installed the EasyGals plugin, if that would make a difference. I wanted something that would automatically resize larger images to a thumbnail (which would link to the full image).

i can suggest an alternative… you can use yahoo flickr free account if something is wrong with your server settings…

also try uploading some other image files…
