Uploading images for Pages

  • When editing a Page, I want to upload an image to use. Click on the image upload icon, select my file and it starts to upload. Then I get the following error:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2008/09

I checked folder permissions and the folder is set to 777. I tested this when adding/editing a Post and it works just fine. I went to the Media tab and tested uploading and it works just fine. This problem only affects uploading when editing a Page which seems very strange to me.

I went through the plugins used on the site and it’s the same plugins I use on almost every WordPress website we’ve created without issue. However, the web hosting is unique to this client so I don’t know if there is some server configuration that could be causing this.

Another thing I have setup is the .htaccess file in wp-admin to remove any potential mod_security problems – still didn’t work.
