• I’m trying to create portfolios for my photography site. When I go to (portfolio – add new – upload media) then publish all my images appear on the left hand side. This part of my page demonstrates the problem http://www.michaelrobertsfotografo.com/?page_id=14 (below “matrimonios”)
Can someone please indicate how I can batch upload so that these images fill the space? Many thanks
Ps if its relevant, I’m using themeforest’s dandelion as a template. I currently have “two columns” checked on template options, changing this to three or four has made no difference to issue.

  • Dandelion is a premium theme so I don’t really know how it works. I can only give you general WordPress information.

Do you want the images to be centered? Right now they have an alignment of none. To change the alignment try going to the matrimonios page and view the visual editor. Click on the image and you will see a pencil icon to edit the image. You can change the image to centered alignment.

For further questions you should contact the theme authors.

Thanks for the help Stacy, might seem simple but very useful. The other thing I’m trying to do, and I ask this in terms of normal wordpress functoning, is to be able to view these images in a slideshow. At present each image must be seperately clicked on. Can this be done with wordpress portfolios?

There are many ways to do this.

One way is with the plugin JetPack Carousel function.

You can search the plugin repository for other slideshows.

Make sure when you are searching for plugins to find one that is compatible with the current version of WordPress and look at the support logs to make sure there is good support.
