Tried that, but it didn’t work, so i put in my whole url but that doesn’t work.
It doesn’t look like you can use the file upload feature at this time because the directory you have specified (http://great-controversy-movie.com/blog/wp-content) doesn’t appear to be writable by WordPress. Check the permissions on the directory and for typos.
Try creating and using another directory. and give it permissions of 777

As you can tell Podz-san, i don’t know beans about this stuff. I just went and read your FTP/CHMOD tutorial – thanx!
Here are my file permissions:
drwxr-xr-x
I changed the directory to write to: /blog/wp-content but got this again:

I guess i could create another directory, but don’t see why that should help…..
Does everybody else get pics to upload easily???
My guess is that you are looking at one directory, and wp is looking at another……
Try making a folder called ‘pics’ in the wp directory.
CHMOD it to 777
Put the absolutepath.php in there, and copy the path
Then try entering the information there into the uploads boxes.
If it doesn’t work, email me and we’ll get it sorted 🙂
