# Uploading featured image

 * So I can only upload images to my post via URL. But it won’t let me do that for
   setting the **featured image **of that post. Is there some way that can be fixed
   or I can upload it?

 * No, that isn’t currently possible in the same simple way as with the Image Block.
   You’ll need to upload the file for the featured image to the media library first.
