# Uploading a downloaded theme

 * How do I upload a downloaded theme to my website? Pixel is the one I downloaded.

 * Extract the file so you will get a folder. I assume you will get “Pixel” folder.
 * Upload the whole folder to “wp-content/themes” via FTP.
 * Go to your wordpress admin and activate it through “appearance>themes”
 * Hope that helps.

 * Hi,
 * I have also downloaded a new theme (hostile fruit), extracted the file and uploaded
   via FTP but WordPress does not offer me this theme under the theme options.
 * Is there something else that I should be doing?
