I have two “identical” websites. One is used for development purpose, the other website is live (photona.org).
On my development website the uploader photos widget displays an overview of all users and the number of photos uploaded by each of them.
On my live website, I only see the number of photos of the user currently logged in when looking to the uploader photo widget.

Could it be I overlooked a certain setting that is required to display the number of photos for all users?

Photos that have status ‘pending’ are only shown or listed to the owner, so maybe they are all ‘pending’ on the live site.

Thanks again for the quick reply.
All photos have the status “publish”. Table VII-B7 upload moderation is not set.
In case the photos would have the status “pending”, wouldn’t that cause the photos not to be visible in the albums for any user except for the original poster?
On my website any user (even users that are not logged in) can see all photos that are posted. It only seems to be the uploader photos widget that is not doing what it should.

Would it make sense to copy all photos (physical files + database tables) to my development website to see what happens there in the uploader photos widget?
If so, can you tell me which tables and which folders I have to copy? I don’t care about overwriting album metadata, photo metadata or even comments. But I don’t want to overwrite any other setting.

    Kind regards,

It works perfectly, see the site i added 2 photos ( flowers ) under 2 different names.

Did you exclude users in the widget activation screen? admin is default excluded.

I can see you in the uploader photos widget, but I can’t see myself.
The photos I posted were posted as “Dirk Claesen” and not as “admin”. “Dirk Claesen” is a subscriber just like you.
I have looked into the wp_users and wp_usermeta tables but I cannot see any difference in the definition of your user and mine.
I removed “admin” from the list of persons to exclude from the uploader photos widget but this didn’t help either.

Is there anything else I could try? Should I create a new user account for me and try again?

    Kind regards,
    Dirk

I removed the user and recreated it using the register function on the website.
Now I see the photos I posted previously as well as any new photos I post in the uploader photos widget.

Do you have any idea on what could have happened?

I checked tho code but could not find a reason why probably an internal cache value was not reset somewhere in the past. If this situation happens again, please remember the way you uploaded the most recent photo(s).

    Thanks for the support!
Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.

    Kind regards,
