I am an absolute non-techie and was trying to upload the theme known as “mymag” through cpanel. After I login in and get to file manager I can see the folder called wp-content and once I double click on that it I can see a list of folders one of which is THEMES but on the left hand side upper corner the link is shown as p-content/themes. Shouldn’t it have been wp-content/themes?
That is one doubt. In any case I extracted the zip file of ‘mymag’ inside this folder along with the previously present ‘twenty10’ folder which was there from wordpress installation. So now if I double click on mymag it looks like this: p-content/themes/mymag
But I can’t see the theme in my wordpress dashboard.I can see themes which I haven’t uploaded through cpanel though. The ones which I directly installed from my desktop after saving the zip files on the desktop. Can anyone tell me what is the problem and should I always upload themes using cpanel or it is fine to directly do it from my desktop?
