I could notice anomalies regarding this, and bringing this to our developer’s attention for further investigation regarding the issues noticed.

We got further feedback and I’m afraid this seems more of a bug due to the visibility conditions. If the Upload field visibility doesn’t match with the Field Groups visibility it causes the mentioned issue, our team is already working on fixing this in future updates, however, at the moment there isn’t any exact ETA we could provide.
For now the workaround would be to check and see whether you could switch the visibility so that it matches with Field Group.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
For me this would only work if I could nest non-repeating groups within the main repeating groups, which seems impossible.
I have been puzzling how to reorder the fields but came to the conclusion this workaround will not help. For now, I removed all visibility conditions for upload fields and wait for the fix 😉

I would like to update you regards the current issue, we confirmed it is a bug in the plugin and happens when the Upload field visibility doesn’t match with the Field Groups visibility, unfortunately, the fix requires updating the plugin code but we already reported it to our developers.
We can’t give an estimated time yet for the fix but subscribing to our roadmap https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/ is a good way to be posted about upcoming versions, once they are released, it is going to be described at changelog found on https://wordpress.org/plugins/forminator/#developers
Since the bug was acknowledged, reported and tasked to be fixed, we are marking this as resolved, but feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.
