I have just uploaded an new template to my wordpress site but the instructions to configure it are extremely vague. As a newbie this is causing frustration of the highest order. Is there anyone out there that would be able to guide me through the configuration. The template is called flexolio!

In most cases, all you would need to do is download the theme and place it in your wp-content/themes directory. Once it’s in there, go into your control panel under the Appearance section and activate the new theme.

    Hi SteelFrog,

What are you trying to do, exactly? It’s a little hard for me to understand what you’re asking without seeing it, or having a detailed explanation of what you’re trying to achieve.

Ok, I have uploaded my new template and activated it. However, the documentation that came with the template gives me a number of instructions that I have to follow but they are very vague. This is what it says….

    Installation of the template:
    1. Unpack the package content and upload your selected skin into your WordPress theme directory
    2. Create a homepage and select the template “Frontpage”
    3. Under Settings->Reading->”Front page displays” select “a static page” and choose the created homepage
    4. Create a blogpage
    5. Under Settings->Reading->”Post page” choose the created blogpage
    6. 777 Read/write permission :
    – Interline/inc/cache – Interline/inc/cu3er/xml
Congratulations. The basic configuration is now finished.
    Some important hints:
    Preview pictures in posts:
    – This template supports preview pictures in your posts.
    – Always upload the pictures into WordPress first and go to your post page.
    – Copy the picture link and put it into as value in the custom field “prewiev” (check for this spelling!)
    – If “prewiev” does not exist, you must create it with the “add” button.
