 * Hi,
 * Does anyone know how upload_tmp_dir gets set for PHP when creating a new WordPress
   site? I have tried deleting MySQL and creating a new one, carrying out a new
   install of WordPress then trying to uploading a media file.
 * This did not avoid the “Missing a temporary folder” message and PHP still had
   upload_tmp_dir unset.
 * Does the hosting site have to re-create MySQL?
 * Thanks,
    John.

 * The “Missing a temporary folder” message has somehow gone away, I know not why
   or how.
 * 1. upload_tmp_dir is still set to “no value”
    2. I have not recieved a reply
   from my hosting service on this topic as yet.
