upload_max_filesize confusion

    I just moved hosting companies and im moving all my sites to the new host.

    One of the first things I did on my vps was to change upload_max_filesize to 32mb. phpinfo tells me this is working as I have set.

    I have moved 3 of my wordpress sites to the new host.
    The first site is saying that the max upload size is 8mb in the upload new media area.

    The second site is saying that the max upload size is 8mb in the upload new media area.

    The third site is saying that the max upload size is 64mb in the upload new media area.

    does anyone have any idea what is going here?

    Sometimes you have to contact your hosting via support to up the limit.

    my hosting will do 64mb

    but will only be set to take if i ask them else its usually set to 16mb.

    So sontact your host tell them to up the limit sometimes you can do it via control panel.

    i can edit the php.ini file as i like because its a vps, phpinfo is saying its been set correctly, 3 different wordpress sites are giving different sizes.
    either way, all three sites should show the same value – no?
