    Greetings:

I purchased the Premium license a couple of days ago and I have used the plugin to backup our website. The backup zip files for the themes, plugins, others, and db are fine BUT all the 4 uploads zip files are much less in size than they are supposed to be. I have the backups going to our DropBox account.

From the email sent to me after the backup is completed:

    Uploads (files: 4)
    • backup_2017-02-08-2301_Appalachian_Log_amp_Timber_Hom_26a3c5d6e503-uploads.zip
    Size: 398.5 MB, SHA1 checksum: d34dcc216af4f2f1e1eacea6f192bfb9067e6734
    • backup_2017-02-08-2301_Appalachian_Log_amp_Timber_Hom_26a3c5d6e503-uploads2.zip
    Size: 398.2 MB, SHA1 checksum: 43604441a13cd4b86486400e01d86cc892f08276
    • backup_2017-02-08-2301_Appalachian_Log_amp_Timber_Hom_26a3c5d6e503-uploads3.zip
    Size: 399.6 MB, SHA1 checksum: b679ddac8fc998651b92a6d0990fc16650ab0ec9
    • backup_2017-02-08-2301_Appalachian_Log_amp_Timber_Hom_26a3c5d6e503-uploads4.zip
    Size: 287.5 MB, SHA1 checksum: 53be645a53c81d32243d11b5dd1eb033abc27cb9

On DropBox, the files are much smaller:

    uploads.zip is only 48.53 MB
    uploads2.zip is only 48.18
    uploads3.zip is only 9.65
    uploads4.zip is only 17.65

When I download these zip files and extract the contents, I get the following error message: C:\Users\KTownJack\Downloads\backup_2017-02-08-2301_Appalachian_Log_amp_Timber_Hom_26a3c5d6e503-uploads.zip: The archive is corrupt

The link to one of the daily backup detailed log file is @

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/bn2hh5ekj9jq2fq/log.26a3c5d6e503.txt?dl=0

I tried to see the sizes of these backups on the server in /wp-content/updraft BUT I had only the plugin zip file showing????

Look forward to your prompt response:)

    Hi,

Please could you try reducing the ‘Split backups every’ option in the ‘expert settings’ section of the Settings tab?

This will split the backup into smaller files, which should be more easily processed.
Could you set this option to 50MB?

This will result in a lot more backup files, but will confirm if the issue is due to the size of the files.

    Hi,

We now think it likely that this was corruption caused by a bug that is now fixed in the current UpdraftPlus release yesterday – please update asap!
