upload wordpress media to another host ?

    Dear Guys,

    i want to change wordpress uploader to upload files to another host, is there anyway to do this, I know it is possible to change it to a subdomain but the problem is that my subdomain in in another host and I want wordpress to upload my files to the subdomain DL for example but the subdomain is in another server.

    Hello,

    Not easily possible. WP doesen’t have such functionality built in, it would require somehow connecting to the other host after the upload and transferring files via (S)FTP.

    You can however use the “W3 Total Cache plugin”, it has CDN functionality built in that mirrors all uploads to a host (or a service) of your choice.
    Hopefully this does the trick for you, it’s basically what you want 🙂

    I am not very familiar with CDN but I will try it out.
