    Hi all,

since 2 days I’m getting this error while using my backup to Dropbox. Earlier, it works properly. My plugin is version 3.8.0, so it’s the latest one.

    What to do?
I did neither change the job details / configuration, nor my Dropbox Credentials or anything else. It just stopped working.

    Any idea?
    Thanks!

sorry about the delayded response, this issue really not caused by BackWPUp, but rather by the web server or Dropbox server-side.
We have a few reports here and solution from other users which you can take a look at:

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-backwpup-backups-failing-to-dropbox/

`Agreed. All my backups seemed to have starting working again without failing. No changes were made on my end since the first edits when the thread was started. I did not reach out to my VPS provider.

Like @fakesteve mentioned this was more than likely over utilization on the Dropbox side of things.

Thank you @duongcuong96 for offering help and troubleshooting assistance throughout! Top notch support.`

Turns out this was an issue with a Cyrus One network segment going into / thru a data center outside of Houston causing the issue. The equipment was replaced and the problem was resolved.

I hope my answer could help ^^
