• I have a wordpress blog installed and it already contains posts and pages etc. I need to upload a squeeze page to this blog. I have a html template for the squeeze page ready to be uploaded. By using ‘coffee cup FTP’ and connecting to my server I created a new folder (directory) for this squeeze page and uploaded the squeeze page into this directory. It doesn’t display on the web correctly. Is this the right way to do it?
Also I have seen demonstrations to create a squeeze page by using WP itself. When you go to add a new page in WP, on the right hand side there is an ‘attributes’ section which has three parts: Parent, Template and Order. The ‘Template’ has a drop down to select ‘squeeze page.’ My Blog does not have the Template drop down at all. It only has ‘Parent’ and ‘Order’ under the ‘attributes’ section. How do I get the template drop down and why isn’t it there to begin with?

  • My Blog does not have the Template drop down at all.

The Template dropdown is only displayed in your current theme has one of more custom page templates. You may want to look at creating a squeeze page via a custom page template.
