# upload products

 * Hi all,
 * Some time back I bought the Porto theme which comes with WooCommerce. The first
   thing I want to do is insert productS INto my store. To this end, I downloaded
   the sample product database from github. In this database, there are features
   like height, weight, etc. etc. which I do not need. Actually, the whole database
   is not applicable to my product range.
    Is there any guidance as to how and what
   to change in the CSV file so that I can use it for my store, please? Or any guidance
   that can help me populated the CSV file so that I can import my products in the
   database quickly?

 * Your best bet here is to manually add one or more of your products to the store
   with all the data that is relevant to you.
 * Once that’s done, you can then export the products to a CSV document and use 
   that as a template to enter the remainder of your products since only the relevant
   bits of information will be filled out in the CSV.
 * You can then reimport this to the site once you’re done.

   question. how do I bulk remove the current products that are in the database?

 * If you wanted to bulk delete them straight from the database you [could follow this article and use the codes they suggest](https://melissafreeman.com.au/wordpress-bulk-remove-woocommerce-products-attributes-sql-commands/)
   to clear all your products.
 * Another option would be just bulk deleting them from the Products page.
