Upload own logo and change code in header.php?

    I tried going into the css and direct the image to the head wrap section of the header but was unsuccessful. What am I suppose to do in the php in header.php to recognize my logo image? I keep breaking things when I try.

    I just want to upload my own logo. Can someone help please? Thanks

    Your website address and which theme you are using is required.

    Also, most of the time theme provider had given an option to use your own logo under Appearance >>>> Your theme name options

    Did you ever figure out how to insert a logo into the Newschannel theme? I am struggling with the same thing.
