• Hello. Thank you for creating such a nice plug-in!
Would you mind sharing some tips please?

I just started learning WordPress and installed WP File Upload.
It worked perfectly while I was logged-in to the site.
However, when I tested same thing as a guest using secret tab or different browser, pressing “upload” button returned silence only.
What could prevent the function? Spent full day to seek for solution, yet still no luck. 🙁

    Shortcode was [wordpress_file_upload uploadpath=”submitted”].
Giving full access permission to “submitted” folder didn’t change situation.

I found similar report posted about 4 months ago which suggests to avoid cache/minification plug-ins.
But no, I am not using other plug-ins so far.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Nope. 🙁
I guess I will test it on other hosting server, just in case it’s server side issue.

Go to Settings of the plugin in Dashboard. What is the value of User State Handler?

In addition, do you have access to the error log of your web server? Maybe there is something recorded there. Some times a security module, called ModSecurity prevents the uploads.
