# Upload Media button Missing

 * Have a user who is a Subscriber. Have tried to set the “Display media buttons
   to” both Subscriber and Everybody.
 * However, with neither setting can the Subscriber see the Upload Media button.
 * My admin user, can see it on the same page.

 * Hi. I think you are facing this problem because subscribers don’t have permissions
   to upload anything. You might be able to fix the issue by installing a role manager
   plugin and giving these capabilities to subscribers.
