I upload all pictures in a size of 1600×1067 (~2MB per pic), after upload in the gallery folder they are still of same pixel-dimension, but more compressed ~400kb. At this point all the metadata is gone. * Uploading the pictures manually via FTP works just fine. Afterwards I start my FTP-Tool and upload the pictures manuelly. We tested this several times before releasing v31 so it should be importing correctly. Would you mind confirming you have added the meta in the IPTC fields before importing? * Thanks! Do you have Adobe Bridge? Lightroom or Photoshop? Or any photo-editing software should have IPTC fields. But now that should be resolved in recent versions. Which version are you using? As of v31, that should all be resolved. If you haven’t already, clear all cache: in your browser, if you have a caching plugin – clear the cache in the settings > Then deactivate the caching plugin. Deactivate NextGEN Gallery then re-activate it and try uploading images you have applied IPTC meta data too.
