Hi guys, thanks for your support.

I already used your service in rail app and I really appreciate it.
Now I would like to plan a WP deployment using paas (like heroku or appfog) and cloudinary ... and it works very well.

my question is regarding mobile usage of WP, because as admin I'm able to upload image from iphone, but not directly to cloudinary. Have you any suggests to post using iphone uploading images directly to cloudinary ?

    thanks in advance,
    firo

    Hi Firo,

Currently we don't support uploading from WordPress mobile admin interface. It is in our road map, and we'll be happy to update you when it is available

Even if you can do a simple app that allows uploading from phone to cloudinary (without involving wordpress) - to store, till added to a post - that will be very helpful.

I often have images I want to add to posts in ways more complex than my phone allows and it is a pain importing them to desktop, then selecting and uploading. Would be great if clicking a picture gave me an option to dump it in my account for use when I login to my wordpress - or any other integration with account, I guess.

If the issue is one of space/misuse as storage instead of serving images, it may work to auto-delete images that haven't been used in posts within a week/month or something.

    Hi,

You can login to your WordPress Dashboard from your mobile browser, and use the same process as in your desktop. Go to a post, click on "Cloudinary Upload/Insert" then click the "Select file" button. This will upload directly from your mobile's image gallery. While it's not a mobile customized interface, it still works.

You can also login to your Cloudinary account (from your mobile browser) at https://cloudinary.com/console and upload your images there. You'll then have these images available when you go again to your Cloudinary Media Library in WordPress.
