• Hello,
I am getting HTTP error if I try uploading files that are larger than aproximately 3MB. However my memory limits and upload limits are all set to 48MB. Even wordpress says that maximum file size limit is 48MB.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I can provide any phpinfo values that you want. Maybe I can even post a link with whole phpinfo but only if it is absolutely necessary

    Thanks in forward

  • This is commonly caused by an over-aggressive configuration of your server’s mod_security module. Try asking your hosts about it.

No, this is something to do with 3.9. I’m having the same problem, and I see LOTS of other people having the same problem since the 3.9 update.

I do have as well, but thing is I’m running 3.9.1 on free (read test website) host it works OK, but not on my ‘original’ website, although I’m uploading same image.

upload limits are all set to 48MB

Have you checked php.info for the setting “upload_max_filesize”. This could be the constraint.
