    What does this do? I ask because there are hundreds of listings in my 404 log where they type in themename/upload-handler.php. They are obviously trying to exploit something. If not needed, I want to rename that in each site themes.

    Have you tried asking the authors who include this in their themes?

    I don’t know which themes have it. The exploiters typed about 100 different theme names and mine isn’t there as it is custom. I don’t have time to check my other themes (have a limited amount of time I can sit up and be online and bill-paying is taking priority).

    I’m sorry but there’s nothing we can offer to help. It’s certainly not part of a standard WP theme.

    I didn’t realize you only offer help with themes you offer, though this file may be in the hundreds you offer.

    Sorry I wasted your time reporting a possible exploit. Thought I was helping plus learning. Won’t bother you with exploits again.
