 * Is there any way to add a generic file upload widget (instead of a thickbox window)
   in the post/page admin panel, and to make it “required” in order to post? Can
   it have features like retrieving file info or download count like the download
   management plugins (all of which as far as I know, work standalone from the posts
   and don’t create a content type by themselves)?
