Can you share some information about your installation and when this error occurred?
What theme are you using?
Are you using any other PlugIns?
Did this occur directly after installing the Car Demon PlugIn?
Where exactly are you seeing this error? Is the site loading at all or is this creating a fatal failure?
Can you send a link to your site?
Sorry for so many questions, but all this information will help us determine the cause and provide a solution.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for getting back to me. I downloaded (to my hard drive) from cardemons.com – then when I go to wordpress and hit ‘upload’ in themes it acts like it’s ready to unpack but says “failed” error no style.css –
the site is mainstreetmotorssc.com but that will be replaced with cardemons.
If you have time and want to do a join.me I have no problem you being in the back end.

I see what’s happening. Car Demon is a PlugIn, not a Theme.
Here’s the easiest way to install it.
Go to your admin area and click “PlugIns”, then click “Add New”. In the search box type “Car Demon”. On the results page click on “install” next to the Car Demon PlugIn, once installed click “Activate” and you should be good to go.

No problem, easy mistake to make. Most of the automotive solutions available are themes so I completely understand the confusion.
Getting the inventory to list on the homepage will require the use of another PlugIn. By default the inventory is shown on http://yoursite.com/cars-for-sale
In order to make this your “homepage” you’ll need to download a redirect PlugIn like this one;
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/
Then you can create a blank homepage and redirect it to the Inventory.
In the future we’ll add a shortcode that will let you drop the inventory into a single page, but that’s not going to be available for awhile.
