• Hello again and thanks for your past help! I am trying to get a csv set up to upload extra per-image date for images to be attached to a page. I’m not sure what “The second column must contain the identifier you assigned to the layout field that contains the image” means. At first I thought it was the image file name, but that didn’t work. What data should I plug in here? Thanks again.

    Hi Dan,
    Something is going wrong here.
First, do you have any plugin installed that could be changing the gallery shortcode? If so, try deactivating it.

If that isn’t the issue, then I need some clearer information — your image1 does not seem to match the other images.

Using the same image in each case, can you please post
    1. the relevant line from the uploaded csv file
    2. which button you clicked to do the upload
    3. a screenshot of the webforms–>”manage items” page showing the headers and the relevant line after the csv file has been uploaded ( so I can check the sequence numbers)
    4. a screenshot of what you get when you edit the page and edit the gallery for that image after you attach it.

I did find one plugin that was changing the image attributes, “Auto Image Attributes From Filename With Bulk Updater” that I installed today to see if I could add the data from a CSV but did not use it but it was activated. Deactivated and now the images are being created wit the info.

Is there a way to change the data that I did upload to the Manage page file. Can I create a different one and upload that, will that change the info so that when I create a new page and add files? The reason being I am seeing the users name as the file name not the file name. also ai would add the judging scores and total so the members can get an idea how there images were judged.

    Thanks for you help

So long as you are talking about the “Upload Image Data” button, and not “Upload Entry Data”, yes, you can reload the .csv file and it should overwrite what you uploaded before.

Yes I chanced it and it did update the file. Only thing is that bulk delete I selected it by accident and deleted a bunch of images. I have them on my computer so I guess I will have to do some uploading.

    Thanks
    for you help
