# Upload does not work

 * I installed responsive photo gallery in a xamp environment. The upload works –
   but the gallery stays empty! A message flashes, but to short to read. Other galleries
   work. Do I have to change any settings?

 * Hi – I just deleted the previous and installed the new version: same effect, 
   the galley stays empty after upload …
    Other galleries do work. Settings? Christian

 * Hi Bfent1,
 * In Most cases that problem occurs due to other plugin conflicting OR any theme
   JS conflict.
 * So try to deactivate other once for testing purpose.
 * Also let us which theme you are using with plugin.

 * Hi weblizar, The problem was that I had my xamp environment running in parallel:
   when swiched off Apache and SQL the upload worked as it should!

 * Hi Weblizar,
 * I’m using a theme called Other by Thomas Rhodes. Whenever I put the short code
   for a gallery into the theme, it shows up when I view the change but if I visit
   my site in a different browser, the gallery doesn’t show up. Any thoughts?
