# upload directory doesn’t exist?

 * Hi,
 * I just upgraded to 2.7.1 and the top of my admin page kept showing me the message:“
   Configured WordPress upload directory doesn’t exist
    Please make sure that the
   directory exists and is writeable.”
 * also, when i try to add pics to my post… it didn’t work, either..
 * anyone?

 * Please check wp-contents directory permissions of your blog and set recursive
   permissions to writable.
