 * Question: I just got my blog running. Now, do I need to get embed code to place
it on my website where I want to frame it on one of my pages. Is that possible
or am I way off on this? Of coarse it is installed on my web host and runs fine
but I need it to be contained on my website. Hope I am making sense?
 * Thanks in advance for any direction you can give me.

 * you don’t want wordpress to run the site?
you want to keep your original site
and embed wordpress into it? is there a point to doing it that way?

 * I would like the answer to this, too. I do not want WordPress to run my site,
for various reasons. I only need an authoring tool to allow contributors to keep
my news items up to date on my website. I don’t want to redo the entire site
with WordPress. I like having complete and total control over my site, without
using a complete CMS solution, because invariably when I use those solutions
I always run into a roadblock with something I cannot do. If I use only the portions
that I want to use, I can maintain the complete control over my website without
being dependent on a third-party tool. I also don’t know/use PHP, my site is .
net. I don’t want to take the time to learn PHP for whenever I need to extend
   something with WordPress.
 * So, any tips? Can I do this with WordPress?

 * I have the same question as SAMWeb,
I payed money for a .org domain, and now
need a more dynamic website, and would like to add a comment option. So, I opened
a wordpress blog. The only trouble is that I dont want a link to a different
site, but i want it to be EMBEDDED. I’d also like to add that this is slighty
urgent, and that I am entirely new to this, so please avoid technical terminology…

 * thank you in advance

 * you can set wordpress up in a folder and access it with a link from root like

 * if you truly want to embed it – do a google search on your own

 * I also wish to embed WordPress into my website for reasons similar to those posted
by SAMWeb. Unfortunately, the moderator is unwilling to provide a simple answer
in good, plain English with enough detail for those not well versed in the insider
language of web programming to understand. Perhaps this forum needs a different
moderator, one more interested in helping.

 * how do you know how much I help? Perhaps we need some folks capable of a “simple”
   search before whining about others.
