Upload a product list

    Hi,

    I’ve used WordPress before as a blog but I’m looking for a software that will enable me to have extensive product catalogue with over 1000 products with different attributes. One of my friends suggested that I give wordpress a try but from what I’ve seen this doesn’t seem possible. Each product will have a range of attributes that I’d like to make filterable on the front-end. Are there any plugins that will enable me to:
    – Upload a product list with various attributes
    – Allow the customers to filter them on the front-end based on the uploaded attributes

    Gruff,

    I’m trying to do the same thing and seeing how my PHP/mySQL knowledge is VERY limited, I was hoping there was something already available. Did you find anything that met your needs? Or did you have to go completely custom?
