Upgrading WP Super cache on WP 2.8.4

    I’m still using wordpress 2.8.4 on one site. Won’t go into the detail but can’t upgrade right now. Been running into server problem recently with high cpu and was wondering if upgrading WPSC might help?

    We are currently running WPSC 0.9.9.3. Looking at the plugin page it now says it only works with WP 2.9 is this strictly true?

    Yes. It’s safe to assume that SC is using one or more functions in the current version that are not available in pre-2.9 WP.

    There’s a good chance the plugin won’t work, but if you have a development site try it there first.
