I updated the Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks plugin and both the backend and frontend of my website crashed. I was able to fix this problem fairly easily by going into cPanel and changing the name of the plugin directory. After that, the site functioned normally, but I’ve had to remove the Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks plugin until a new version that fixes this problem is released.

  • Hi, thanks for reporting I believe this was an issue with PHP 7.2 I’ve updated the plugin to version 1.9.1 which should resolve your issue.

Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks v1.9.1 fixes my problem. I’ve reinstalled the plugin and everything is working great.
