# Upgrading to pro version

 * Hello! I’m thinking about upgrading to the Pro version. If I do that, should 
   I uninstall the free version first? Or is the free version required for the Pro
   version to work?

 * Great question! No need to uninstall the free version, UAE Pro works as an add-
   on on top of it, so you’ll want to keep the free version active. Simply install
   and activate the Pro plugin alongside it.
