 * Our WordPress support person has quit and I am dead scared to upgrade to the
latest version of WordPress without someone in the know helping me. We are using
a custom theme called Arisefoundation. What I am most concerned about is how
this upgrade may affect our security certificate which has caused us a lot of
trouble in the past. Is there any reason why I should upgrade to thie new version
or is there anybody who has upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.2.4 with a custom template
and an SSL security certificate in place by Comodo Secure? If so should I upgrade
without support from someone who knows what they’re doing?

 * if you are concerned and have experienced problems in the past, yes, hire the
help of someone who has experience with your SSL cert. will give you peace of
   mind.
 * backup of database and files is always a good thing before upgrading.
    a well
coded theme with customizations should be fine to upgrade.
