 * Hi,
    I have php 5.2 (single php.ini) running on my account… There is an option
   to upgrade to 5.3 which I think (not sure) I should upgrade… if I did, will this
   upgrade have any impact on Bulletproof or has nothing to do with it?
 * thanks !

 * BPS has been tested up to PHP5.4.x without any issues or problems.

 * I wouldn’t have to change anything on BPS, right?

 * The only thing that might change is that you may need to add php/php.ini handler.
   htaccess code to BPS Custom Code if your Host requires php/php.ini handler code.
   If you switch to PHP5.3.x and you see php/php.ini handler .htaccess code automatically
   added to your root .htaccess file then you will need to copy and paste it to
   this Custom Code text box…CUSTOM CODE TOP PHP/PHP.INI HANDLER/CACHE CODE: Add
   php.ini handler and/or plugin cache code here
    ONLY add valid htaccess code below
   or text commented out with a pound sign # …save it, click the automagic buttons
   and activate Root folder BulletProof Mode again.
 * If your host does not require php/php.ini handler .htaccess code then no nothing
   will change.

 * Hi Aitpro,
    First, I love the plugin which means my sites have not been affected
   by the recent wordpress attacks (a few IP lockouts only) I didn’t understand (
   any of) your answer, so please can I ask for a non-technical answer to the question?
   Hostgator has installed php5.3 for me but told me to add:
 * ‘AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .php’
 * to all the .htaccess files of all webistes. Will this work OK with BulletProof
   Security installed ? (Just Yes or No is quite technical enough for me !)

 * You would copy and paste this HostGator php/php.ini handler code **AddType application/
   x-httpd-php53 .php** for PHP5.3.x into this BPS Custom Code text area/text box**
   CUSTOM CODE TOP PHP/PHP.INI HANDLER/CACHE CODE:** Add php.ini handler and/or
   plugin cache code here.
 * After adding this custom code click the Save Root Custom Code button, go to the
   Security Modes page, click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button and
   activate Root Folder BulletProof Mode again.
