• I am currently running WordPress v2.5 (probably v2.5.1). I want to upgrade to the latest version but I want to do a completely fresh reinstall setting all files/code I have edited back to default but keep all my posts/pages.

I want to try to get a clean database structure and clean file structure. I am thinking the only method to do this successfully is to backup my site, print each configuration page, delete everything, install v2.7 and just re-setup everything and import via PhpMyAdmin my Posts/Pages and edit where appropriate to get images working again.

I have edited quite a few pages to make WordPress more “secure” and made a few custom features which are now covered by plugins so I want to see if my site can work without my customisations to code so I can more easily upgrade.

Can anyone suggest better method of doing this?

    Thanks
