Its running 2.3.2 I know zero about wordpress, so i installed it in a directory on one of my sites. Pretty straight forward and easy. Upgrading a current installation seems a little more tricky. I looked over a few things including the install guide but also found that someone suggested an “incremental” upgrade”…? I have full access to the server and ftp access. * Is there anything additionally i should know before attempting this? I would go to 2.6.5 and then you should be able to go straight to 2.8. * Before you start: * 1. Backup (db and source code) 2. Disable all plugins 3. Change to default theme 4. Make sure you backed-up 😉 * Just be sure to keep a good backup in case you need to fall back and try again. Though i think i could get this done, i just don’t have the time at the moment.
