 * I just acquired a new client for hosting and its an old version of WP 3.4.1

Some customization was done to make the site. I want to update WP to the latest
3.7.1 I’ve just backed up the complete file structure and the database. Is it
safe now to do the upgrade?

 * I reckon so. If you’re satisfied you could do a complete restore from the files
you’ve backed up, go crazy and run that upgrade!

 * As you have such an old version of WordPress, you will need to carry out a series
of smaller manual upgrades. See [Upgrading_WordPress_Extended](http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended)
   for the full details.
