Upgrades with wp and php problems

Hi, just recently upgraded my website’s wp program and switched from php4 to php5 and I just noticed that I am not able to see my new plugins or even get in to edit my settings. I do not know code very well but I can pretty much figure out if someone has a clue what the problem is. thx
