# upgrade.php error

 * I just upgraded wordpress and I am getting the following error when trying to
   login to the admin dashboard.
 * **Forbidden**
 * You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-admin/upgrade.php on this server.

   It ruins the magic of the [No Replies](http://wordpress.org/support/view/no-replies)
   link that many of us do use.
 * About your problem: that looks like a web server issue. Can you check your web
   server’s error_log file and see what it says?

 * Gotcha, I just thought there was some kind of error because my post kept getting
   deleted. I see that was an intentional delete now. I just got off the phone with
   my host and we are hashing it out now.
 * Definitely a server error.
