640 published posts as seen in this screen shot below but the list only gives 6 total posts and my page is showing nothing.

i have disabled all plugins and still the same. I re-enabled the minimum for the site to work other than these posts not showing up.

    Please help.

    what theme are you using?

Judging by that screenshot, you have not disabled all plugins.

The ‘Reset Sorting Tags’ button is not in WordPress by default.

My situation is a bit different, but in case it offers a clue about what’s going on with your posts, I’ll describe as best I can.

I have a static start page and whatever page I set to Posts Page displays as blank (Settings-Reading-Front Page Displays-Static Page). The page looks populated in WP Admin panel, but when you view it from the web, the text is missing, so page appears with menus and blank body.

This site is all static pages, so I copied all content to a new page with similar name and made the static post page private. Any page I set to Posts Page is rendered with a blank body when viewed from the web.

Like I said, I have no idea if this situation has any bearing on yours, but we’re both having issues with “Post” pages.

Sorry. I did not notice responses. I thought it would email me or alert me some how. Anyhow, http://screencast.com/t/rweypTuK7.

    All plugins are disabled.

When I clicked reset sorting tags all of the posts showed up. Perhaps it was a filter built in or something. I will mark this as resolved as I have more important issues to beg help with.
