• just FYI

last night i installed 2.3 on one of my domains that i wasn’t using and it’s not indexed in google.

this morning i was creating a sitemap when i realized that all the posts, pages and categories that i created yesterday were gone. my template was replaced with the classic version and my plugins disabled.

i was logged into admin as this was happening, so i caught it in time…changed the passwords right away…

i even had “login lockdown” plugin enabled…oh well…

i just reinstalled everything, it took less time than trying to troubleshoot it

i’m going to do some deep looking into the logs when i get a chance, and also limit admin access by IP.

anyone had the same issue today? it’s just a little weird since i wasn’t listed in google, i didn’t do anything to piss a hacker off, and my content was about a resort i love…

just making sure that anyone else is not experiencing the same issue with the newest version 2.3.

    any advice would be appreciated.

That sounds to me more like your database got restored to a previous version. Might ask your host if they had to roll back the database.
