Upgraded-plugin disappeared from admin screen

I upgraded to the gallery’s latest version and now it has disappeared from my admin…the images are still on my pages, but are not the same as before. I see the gallery folder under wp-content->plugins->Fancy gallery Pro – how do I just get it working again without overwriting my images?
