  • I got an email to update to 1.2.2 and so I did, backing up and saving the files it said to save.
Now I get the following error, and I can’t access my login panel at all. Can someone help?
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'SET timestamp='1103407781',ip='24.42.55.21',location='Idiot on a Stick',url='/bl' at line 1]
    UPDATE SET timestamp='1103407781',ip='24.42.55.21',location='Idiot on a Stick',url='/blog/index.php' WHERE username='jafer'
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'VALUES ('1103407781','jafer','24.42.55.21','Idiot on a Stick','/blog/index.php')' at line 1]
    INSERT INTO VALUES ('1103407781','jafer','24.42.55.21','Idiot on a Stick','/blog/index.php')
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'WHERE timestamp<1103407481' at line 1]
    DELETE FROM WHERE timestamp<1103407481
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1]
    SELECT COUNT(*) FROM

And I get this message when I try to get to my admin panel.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_login() in /mnt/web_k/d38/s32/a0004tng/www/blog/wp-login.php on line 164

Can you run upgrade.php again ?
Did you delete files from the server before uploading the new ones ?

    Anybody?

Try downloading WP v1.2.2 again, delete wp-login.php off your server, then upload wp-login.php from your new download. It is possible that one or more files could have been corrupted during the download or during decompression.

what kind of plugins u have installed?

Ok, never mind everything. I changed my wp-config file and then uploaded it.
Then it told me that I didn’t have wp installed, and so I did the install. Now I’m starting all over again obviously, and everything is working at the moment. I can get to my login page and my site also shows. However, all my data from before is not showing.
Perhaps there’s a way for me to import this?

“, guessing which files go into which directory because in the download they all come in one.”
Your unzipping program is not respecting the file structure – it MUST unzip things correctly, or errors will happen.

Yes, I was using filezilla and it extracted all to one directory – so when I reinstalled I tried using a different extract and got them with the file directories as well – so now it’s ok.
